Skidmore Athletics Video

Last month I had the pleasure of doing a video for my alma mater’s athletic department. It was fun to see former coaches of mine and also talk to ones I’ve never met before.

I shot all of the B-Roll footage (practices, games, coach interactions, etc.) and also helped set up and record the interviews. The video was edited by Galileo Media Arts. It was was played at the 9th Friends of Skidmore Athletics Benefit and Hall of Fame Induction. It’s also featured on the Skidmore website.

Bye Ken

When I saw Toy Story 3 last year, I could only imagine the chance to work alongside its lead editor. These past few months I’ve been the assistant editor to Ken Schretzmann on the film Comedy Warriors. Ken is a seasoned veteran in the film industry and has worked on more than a handful of box office hits as an editor at Pixar Animation Studios. Its been great to soak up his editing knowledge and getting to know him as a person. A couple of days ago, Ken flew back home to California and will soon depart for Paris, where he’ll be working on another feature film. I wish my new friend good luck and look forward to seeing him again when he gets the chance to return to the states.

Ken and Me

Short Whale Clip

Was recently home for a few days and here’s a video clip I captured. Shaky footage isn’t my style, but still wanted to share the clip of this humpback whale. Thanks again Uncle Chris for taking me out on your boat!

Happy Mother’s Day

When my parents visited last week they told me that there were baby ducks roaming the waters of Congress Park. The weather was great and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to get some video footage of the baby ducks. I hope you enjoy Part Deux of the Ducks of Congress Park.

Saratoga Test Footage

I’ve been shooting a good amount of test footage lately with the new equipment for both the fun of it and to prepare for the upcoming shoots. I was recently at a cool little area that runs along the Hudson River. Here’s a short video I made from the footage.

New Video Coming Soon!

I recently visited my parents on Cape Cod and took some more test footage with my new gear. I got some nice shots and plan on posting a short video this coming week. A special thanks goes out to Sasha and Nikia, my parents dogs.

Ducks of Congress Park

Photo I took a few years ago

When I wanted to try out some of my new gear, it was a no brainer that ducks would be some of the first things I wanted to film. Ducks have always been great test subjects for me and I can always count on them being at Congress Park in Saratoga Springs.

Here’s some of the footage I recently shot. Also, no ducks or other creatures were harmed in the filming process. I even rewarded them with bread crumbs.
